年間洋楽アルバムランキング 2011

前回に引き続き、今回はビルボード年間チャート2011のアルバム版をさらっとご紹介します。




1. 21 - Adele

1位はやはりアデル、"21"でした。今更何を紹介することがあろうかという感じですが、セールスも1000万枚を突破し、アワードでもひっぱりだこ、2011年はまさにアデルの年だった気がします。

2. Speak Now - Taylor Swift

2位はテイラー・スウィフトの"Speak Now"です。2010年リリースのアルバムですが、昨年の年間チャートでも9位だったことを考えると相当な人気ですね。レディ・アンテベラムやバンドペリー、4位のジェイソン・アルディーンなんかもそうですが、最近はカントリー勢もなかなか強く、これぞアメリカのチャートって感じですね。

3. Born This Way - Lady Gaga

3位はレディ・ガガの"Born This Way"です。その強烈な個性からか、USだけでなく世界的に人気が高い彼女、ワールドセールスは2位のSpeak Nowよりも200万枚程上だとか。2012年も一挙手一投足に注目が集まりそうです。

年々そうなんですが、やはりギターサウンドでのロックンロールってチャートにはあまり登場しなくなってしまいましたね。少し寂しい気もしますが、時代時代で売れる音楽も違うのでまあ仕方ないのかもしれません。ノエルもそう言ってましたね。

それ以外だと今年のチャートはバランスがいいと思います。HIPHOP、R&B、カントリー、ポップなどなど。シングルチャートは一年中ダンスミュージックが上位にあった気がしますが、アルバムはそうでもなかったり。

2012年はどんな音楽が流行るんでしょうか。

少し前になってしまいますが、今年もビルボードのイヤーエンドチャートが発表されたので、今回は2011年の年間シングルチャートをご紹介します。

1. Rolling in the Deep  - Adele

1位は今おそらく世界で一番売れているシンガー、アデルの"Rolling in the Deep"でした。グラミー賞のゆくえも楽しみですね。2011年、納得の結果ではないでしょうか。



2. Party Rock Anthem  - LMFAO, Lauren Bennett and GoonRock

2位はチャート常連となったLMFAOの二人で"Party Rock Anthem"です。夏ごろに来日もしていました。渋谷で見た人もいたとか。



3. Firework  - Katy Perry

3位はエレクトロポップの歌姫、ケイティ・ペリーの"Firework"でした。続く4位も彼女で、計4曲がチャートインしています。

5. Give Me Everything  - Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer
6. Grenade  - Bruno Mars

6位はグラミー賞ノミネート、ブルーノ・マーズの"Grenade"です。ピアノを引きずっていくPVが印象的でした。



7. F**k You (Forget You)  - Cee Lo Green

7位はシーロ・グリーンで"Fuck You"です。思わず踊りだしたくなる歌で、Gleeでもカヴァーされていました。



8. Super Bass  - Nicki Minaj
9. Moves Like Jagger  - Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera

9位はマルーン５ftクリスティーナ・アギレラで"Moves Like Jagger"でした。リリース済みだったアルバム"Hands All Over"が、これを収録して再リリースされたのも記憶に新しい感じです。

洋楽おすすめアーティスト Taylor Swift

今回は、American Music Awards2011でアーティスト・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞したカントリーシンガー"Taylor Swift(テイラー・スウィフト)"をご紹介します。

1989年生まれ、2006年に16歳でデビューし、ファーストアルバムがビルボードのカントリーチャート1位・アルバムチャート5位に。2011年3月時点で550万枚のセールスを記録し、一躍人気アーティストとなりました。

その後、2008年にリリースしたアルバム"Fearless"は、グラミー賞のアルバム・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞。セールス、アワード共にトップアーティストとなっています。

続いて、セカンドアルバムから、グラミー賞にもノミネートされた彼女の代表作"You Belong With Me"です。

毎月、月初めにその週のビルボードシングルチャートをお届けしていますが、とうとう2011年も最後の月となりました。今回もいくつか動画を交えてご紹介していきます。

1位は先月新しいアルバムがリリースされたリアーナのエレクトロポップ、"We Found Love"でした。もちろんアルバムにも収録されています。アルバムのほうは初登場3位と、こちらもかなりの人気です。

2位は今大人気のエレクトロデュオ、LMFAOの"Sexy And I Know It"です。PVからもかなりのファンキーさが伝わってくる注目のユニットです。

3位はブルーノ・マーズの"It Will Rain"でした。彼は2012年に予定されているグラミー賞でも、カニエ・ウェストに次ぐ6部門にノミネートされており、今一番アツい男性R&Bシンガーかもしれません。

今回Top10以下で注目したいのは43位、グラミー賞の新人賞にもノミネートされているカントリーバンド、The Band Perryの"If I Die Young"です。なんとなくテイラー・スウィフトっぽくもあり、レディ・アンテベラムっぽくもあり、今後どういう方向に流れていくのかなかなか楽しみなバンドです。

2011年 第54回グラミー賞ノミネート ＆ 受賞予想

2011年ももう残すところあと1ヶ月となりました。この時期は毎年恒例ですが、2012年の2月に行われるグラミー賞の候補者が発表されたので、今回は主要4部門をそれぞれご紹介します。

Record Of The Year (最優秀レコード賞)

Holocene - Bon Iver
Grenade - Bruno Mars
The Cave - Mumford & Sons
Firework - Katy Perry

レコード賞候補は上の5曲です。アルバム"21"がワールドワイドで1千万枚以上のセールスを記録し、今世界で最も売れているアーティストとなったアデルの"Rolling In The Deep"、昨年あたりからチャート上位の常連になりつつあるブルーノ・マーズの"Grenade"やケイティ・ペリーの"Firework"がリストに入っています。

今回の注目株は、昨年惜しくも新人賞を逃したMumford & Sons、そして、インディーロックバンドのBon Iver(ボン・イヴェール)です。Bon Iverは今回のグラミー賞で新人賞を含めて4部門にノミネートされており、賞の行方が気になるところです。

Bon Iverが受賞でも面白いと思いますが、予想はアデルの"Rolling In The Deep"です。

新人賞には、カントリーバンドの"The Band Perry"、先ほど軽く紹介したインディーロックバンドの"Bon Iver"、ラッパーの"J. Cole"、"Nicki Minaj"そしてダブステップの才能あるプロデューサーであり、シンガーソングライターでもある"Skrillex"がノミネートされています。

昨年は既にアメリカのトップアーティストとなりつつあったジャスティン・ビーバーがノミネートされている中、ほぼ無名のジャズミュージシャンであるエスペランサ・スポルディングが受賞しており、予想もなかなか難しいところですが、期待をこめて、 "Bon Iver"です。

受賞予想は置いておいて、今や時の人となったアデルへの賞の行方は非常に楽しみなところです。2012年2月発表の、第54回グラミー賞、みなさんも予想してみてはいかがでしょうか。最後はブルーノ・マーズの"Grenade"でお別れです。
